2026 Universe Guest
MVP
Hurt Syndicate, WWE US Champion & Tag Team Champion

In 2007, less than a year into his WWE career, Montel Vontavious Porter won the United States Championship and then refused to let go of it for 343 days. That is the fourth-longest reign in the history of the title and the longest anyone managed under the WWE banner at the time. He beat Ric Flair, Matt Hardy, and Batista along the way, and he did all of it while telling anyone who would listen that he was the highest-paid free agent in SmackDown history.
He arrived as a complete package, half man and half amazing, with an entrance and a swagger that made him impossible to ignore. He added the WWE Tag Team Championship with Matt Hardy, wrestled across Japan and around the world, and built a second career as one of the sharpest talkers in the industry. When he returned to WWE and assembled The Hurt Business around Bobby Lashley, he proved it, turning a group of four into one of the most over acts on the roster through sheer force of persuasion.
He rebuilt it again in AEW as The Hurt Syndicate, where he remains the voice, the strategist, and the reason the whole thing works. Few people in wrestling have been elite at two entirely different jobs. MVP is one of them.
