Julian Shaw
Marvel, Spider-Man, Captain America

Julian Shaw is a San Antonio-born comic artist and designer who has spent the last several years carving out a spot at Marvel, where he has quickly become one of the go-to artists for the Spider-Verse. Known for clean, kinetic linework and a knack for character acting, he has drawn for The Amazing Spider-Man Annual, Edge of Spider-Verse, Captain America: Symbol of Truth with writer Tochi Onyebuchi, Wakanda with John Ridley, Spider-Boy with Dan Slott, Marvel's Voices: Spider-Verse, and the Amazing Spider-Man: Gang War crossover with Zeb Wells and Cody Ziglar. He also handled the art on Marvel's 2025 Free Comic Book Day release and a Kith x Spider-Man collaboration.
A huge chunk of his output lives in Marvel's digital Infinity Comics line, where he is the regular artist on Miles Morales: Spider-Man: Brooklyn's Finest and drew a long run of Astonishing Spider-Man with Scott Aukerman, along with Fantastic Four: Into the Depths and Doorman. Outside of Marvel he is the co-creator of the indie book Recluse, and his Edge of Spider-Verse variant has become a signature target for collectors. He is a Texas regular on the convention circuit and a genuine treat to talk to at the table.
