DeMarcus Ware
Hall of Fame, Cowboys All-Time Sacks Leader, Super Bowl Champion

DeMarcus Ware is a Pro Football Hall of Famer and the most productive pass rusher the Dallas Cowboys have ever had. Drafted eleventh overall out of Troy in 2005, he spent nine seasons in Dallas and left as the franchise's all-time sacks leader with 117, a number no one has come close to since. He made nine Pro Bowls, was named first-team All-Pro four times, and led the entire NFL in sacks in both 2008 and 2010.
He signed with Denver in 2014 and got his ring two seasons later, playing a central role on the Broncos defense that suffocated Carolina in Super Bowl 50. He retired in 2017 with 138.5 career sacks, ninth on the all-time list, plus 35 forced fumbles and 117 tackles for loss.
The Hall came calling in 2023, when Ware was elected in his second year of eligibility and enshrined in Canton, becoming the first Sun Belt Conference player ever inducted. He lives in the DFW area, runs his own fitness company, and remains one of the most beloved figures in Cowboys history.
