Daniel Moncada played Leonel Salamanca, one half of the silent, silver-tipped-boots Cousins who stalked their way through Breaking Bad and became two of the most unnerving characters the show ever produced. He played the role opposite his real-life brother Luis, who played Marco, and the two of them managed to be terrifying with almost no dialogue at all.

The Cousins were memorable enough that Vince Gilligan brought them back for Better Call Saul, where Moncada reprised Leonel across multiple seasons as the prequel filled in the Salamanca family history. He also appeared in Clint Eastwood's The Mule in 2018.

Moncada has built out his credits since with film and television work, and he is a genuinely warm presence at a table, which tends to surprise people who only know him from the boots and the axe. Bring your Breaking Bad memorabilia.
