Austin St. John is the original Red Ranger. As Jason Lee Scott, the leader of the team in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, he anchored the show that turned into a global phenomenon in 1993 and made "It's Morphin Time" a permanent piece of nineties childhood. Born Jason Lawrence Geiger, he was a legitimate martial artist before he ever put on the suit, which is a big part of why the fight choreography held up the way it did.

He left the series partway through the second season, then returned in 1996 as the Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo, becoming one of the very few actors to headline two different Ranger identities. He also appeared in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and came back decades later for the fan-favorite Dimensions in Danger anniversary episode of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel and for the interactive series Power Rangers HyperForce.

Away from the cameras he spent years working as a paramedic and in emergency medicine, which tells you most of what you need to know about him. He is one of the most requested guests in the convention world and a must-meet for anyone who grew up on Saturday mornings in the nineties.
